The Final Elusive Banksy - Found!!!

No if's, and's, or but's about it. This is a Banksy

No doubt about it. This is the one pictured on Banksy's website.

This Banksy 'Caution' piece first pictured on his website had been so hard to find, we started to wonder if it had been buffed already. But LA's Banksy hunters are tenacious and all of a sudden, seemingly out of nowhere, we received a flood of 3 emails this morning all nailing down the exact spot of the Banksy 'Caution' piece.

This one was super hard to find and we are not yet sure of the exact story behind the discovery, but huge congratulations to Darryl Martinez, Evelyn Hernandez and the ultimate Banksy Hunter, Keith Toll for tracking down this elusive piece! They all contacted us between midnight and 2am with the info.

As for where it is, Banksy might be in town for the Oscars, but the location of this piece is well outside Hollywood. It can be found somewhere in East LA. We have the exact location and will post it later on but we just want to make sure and get some good daytime shots and make sure it is documented before anything happens like it did to the other caution sign. Hopefully, this one might get protected and preserved like the Crayon House Foreclosure.

And we just want to say that the collective display of the street art community in helping chase down the Banksy pieces in LA has been nothing less than incredible. We at MELROSEandFAIRFAX can't thank the dedicated fans enough!

  1. Like I said in my email to the site earlier, thanks for running a great site. Also, good idea not to disclose the location until some daytime shots are taken.

  4. Congrats Keith! It makes much more sense of this image being in East LA than Culver City. Keep up the good work boys. I can't wait to check this out this afternoon

  5. Thanks guys but I can't take credit for finding it. Darryl emailed me the location last night to save me the gas money from hunting all day. So thanks Darryl for the tip.
